Meet The Lena Family

Before we're Realtors, business owners, or The Lena Group, we're a family.

We're Ken and Lisa Lena, raising four pretty incredible kids and building a life together here in Arizona. Our house is usually full of conversation, laughter, somebody looking for something they just had five minutes ago, plans being made at the last minute, and at least one person suggesting that we should pack up and go somewhere for the weekend.

And honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way.

Family has always been the center of our lives. It's what brought us to Arizona, what keeps us grounded, and what has shaped the way we've built The Lena Group.

We believe some of the best memories in life happen when you stop overplanning, pile everybody into the car, and go see what's out there.

That pretty much sums up the Lena family.

Ken & Lisa

Ken and Lisa have been doing life together for more than two decades, and somewhere along the way we've become pretty good at embracing the unexpected.

Marriage, four kids, career changes, moving across the country, building a business, starting over in a new state, and figuring things out as we go have all been part of the adventure.

Meet Lisa

Lisa is the family's unofficial travel director.

If there's somewhere we haven't been before, Lisa probably wants to go there.

She loves spontaneous mini-trips, exploring new towns, finding places the family has never seen, and turning an ordinary weekend into a new adventure. It doesn't have to be some huge vacation either. Sometimes the best trips are the ones that start with, "What if we just went there today?"

She's also a serious fan of Mexican food, and if she's in the kitchen, there's a pretty good chance she's creating some new dinner concoction without following much of a recipe. Somehow, it almost always turns out amazing, and the rest of us are more than happy to be the taste testers.

Lisa is currently working toward obtaining her Arizona real estate license and hopes to have everything completed before the end of 2026. The goal is for her to step even further into The Lena Group alongside Ken and continue building the business together as a true husband-and-wife team.

And knowing Lisa, she'll probably find a way to turn showing houses into an excuse to discover three new restaurants and a cool place to stop on the way home.

Meet Ken

Ken is happiest when he's doing one of a few things: working out, spending time with his family, talking with people, building relationships, or working on something involving business.

Usually some combination of all five.

After spending 14 years in law enforcement before transitioning into real estate, Ken discovered that one of the things he enjoys most is simply connecting with people.

He's the kind of person who can walk into a room knowing almost nobody and leave having had five conversations and made three new friends.

He genuinely loves hearing people's stories, helping solve problems, talking business, exchanging ideas, and building relationships that go beyond a single transaction.

He's also always up for the family adventures Lisa comes up with. Give him a workout in the morning, a road trip with the family, good conversation along the way, and somewhere new to explore, and he's pretty happy.

Meet the Kids

The four Lena kids are each completely different, which is probably why life around our house is never boring.

Kira

Age: 21

Kira is preparing to begin an exciting new chapter of her life.

She has been pursuing a career as an esthetician and is now down to just one final test before becoming fully licensed.

After that, her next mission is finding the right salon and environment where she can begin building her career, gaining experience, and making a name for herself.

She's already done the hard work of getting this far, and we're incredibly excited to watch her take everything she has learned and turn it into a career of her own.

And apparently she may already have some competition coming from her younger sister.

Gia

Age: 18

Gia just started college at Arizona State University, where she is studying business.

And she already has her sights set on something very close to home.

Gia's goal is to eventually join the family business and become part of The Lena Group after finishing school.

As parents who have spent years building this business together, it's pretty special hearing one of your kids say that she might want to help carry it forward one day.

Of course, she has plenty of college and life ahead of her first, and we want her to experience all of it. But we'd be lying if we said the idea of eventually seeing another Lena joining The Lena Group doesn't make us smile.

Aubriella

Age: 13

Aubriella is in eighth grade and has absolutely no problem keeping everyone entertained.

She loves hanging out with her friends, making fun dance videos, laughing, joking around, and generally making sure the house is never too quiet.

She is incredibly quick-witted and has the kind of sense of humor that can catch you completely off guard and have everyone laughing five seconds later.

Right now, she thinks she may someday want to become a hairstylist or an esthetician like her big sister Kira.

Will that be the dream five years from now? Who knows. She's 13. We're just enjoying watching her figure it out.

Jionni

Age: 11

Jionni just started sixth grade and loves soccer, video games when he gets the chance, being outdoors, and pretty much anything that allows him to use his hands and figure out how something works.

If there's something that can be taken apart, examined, rebuilt, modified, or somehow turned into a project, there's a good chance Jionni is interested.

He loves having to think through a problem and figure something out that he didn't already know how to do. That curiosity is one of the coolest things about him.

And as of right now, when you ask Jionni what he wants to be when he grows up, his answer is:

A police officer.

Considering Dad's previous career, that one definitely hits a little differently.

And if somehow all four kids eventually end up working at The Lena Group, we may have accidentally created a family dynasty without realizing it.

We're Explorers at Heart

One of our favorite things about living in Arizona is that adventure always feels close.

You can wake up surrounded by desert and saguaros and, a few hours later, find yourself in pine trees, mountains, snow, a small historic town, a lake, or somewhere completely different.

We love that.

Our family loves getting out and experiencing new places, especially the places we haven't been before.

Sometimes it's a planned vacation. Sometimes it's a weekend trip. And sometimes it starts with somebody saying:

“You know where we've never been?”

And suddenly we're going.

We love traveling throughout Arizona, finding hidden spots, visiting different communities, seeing the incredible scenery this state has to offer, and taking trips into neighboring states whenever we have the opportunity.

For us, traveling isn't about checking destinations off a list.

It's about being together.

It's the conversations in the car. The random stops. The places that end up being way cooler than expected. The inside jokes that somehow last for years. The pictures you forget about until they pop up later.

And the memories our kids will hopefully carry with them long after they've grown up and started families of their own.

Our Family in Three Words?

Fun. Energetic. Unpredictable.

Actually, we probably need more than three.

There's a lot of laughter in our family. There's usually music playing somewhere. Somebody is always hungry. Someone is probably running late.

There's a decent chance Lisa has found somewhere she wants everyone to go. Ken is probably talking to somebody he just met. One kid is making a video. Another is working on something. Someone else is asking what's for dinner.

And somehow, through all of that chaos, it works.

That's us.

Why Family Shapes the Way We Do Real Estate

Our own family journey is a huge part of why The Lena Group operates the way it does.

We know what it feels like to leave behind a place you've known for years, pack up your family, move across the country, and begin an entirely new chapter.

We've done it.

And it changed the way we look at real estate.

A home isn't simply bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage and a purchase price.

It's where your kids grow up. It's where birthdays happen. It's where friends gather around the kitchen. It's where holidays happen, arguments happen, laughter happens, and ordinary Tuesday nights eventually become memories.

That's why we've never wanted The Lena Group to feel like a traditional real estate business.

We want people to feel comfortable calling us. We want clients to become friends. We want you to know that you can text us with a question without wondering whether you're bothering us.

And long after the keys have been handed over and the transaction is finished, we still want to be your people.

Relationships first. Houses second.

Maybe This Is Only the Beginning

Kira is beginning her career. Gia dreams of eventually joining The Lena Group. Aubriella may follow Kira into beauty and esthetics. Jionni currently sees a badge somewhere in his future.

And Ken and Lisa are still building, traveling, exploring, learning, and figuring out what the next chapter looks like.

Maybe one day all four kids really will end up running The Lena Group.

Maybe they'll all go completely different directions.

Either way, we'll be cheering them on.

Because ultimately, The Lena Group may be the business we're building…
but the Lena family is the reason behind it.

Come Say Hello

If you landed on this page because you're considering buying or selling a home, hopefully you now know a little more about the people on the other side of the phone.

We're Ken and Lisa.

Parents. Partners. Arizona explorers. Business owners. Neighbors. Occasional chaos coordinators.

And two people who genuinely enjoy meeting people and helping families start their next chapter.

So if you see us somewhere around the North Valley, come say hello.

And if you ever want to talk homes, Arizona, business, family, travel, or you just need a recommendation for somewhere cool to explore this weekend, give us a call or text.
